Striking slim-line stainless steel worktops, matched with super matt indigo units, offer a contemporary twist to the converted stable block.
The clients were downsizing to a converted stable block, which needed to be renovated. They decided on polished concrete floors and exposed stone work, but felt that a contemporary kitchen would suit them best. On entering the house through the front door, the kitchen is the first thing you see and needed to create a stunning first impression.
The colours were paired for maximum impact, the unique matt indigo colour adds character and vibrance, whilst the sophisticated stainless-steel aesthetic is clean and contemporary.
Although the appearance is minimal, there are plenty of specialised features. The built -in storage at the back of the island is perfect for auxiliary items and within a tall unit, is a customised pull- out worktop, to house the coffee machine and toaster. The flush fitting ceiling extractor is subtle and understated, while providing powerful extraction, considering the open plan layout of the space.
